At Precisionary Instruments, we stand firmly behind the quality of our rotary microtomes. We offer a full 3-year warranty for all new rotary microtome units that includes repairs, parts, labor, and shipping. This warranty program applies only to these rotary microtome models: RF-600, RF-800, and RF-1000.

After the end of the warranty period, we also offer an Annual Service Agreement or plan to take care of your microtome for years to come!

Annual service plans

Precisionary Instruments offers an annual service agreement that can be purchased. The purchase must take place within the first three (3) years following rotary microtome delivery. Each subsequent annual service plan agreement purchase must be completed within the prior year’s service coverage. An annual service plan agreement cannot be purchased if there is a gap in annual service coverage.

The annual service plan agreement is detailed as follows:

3-year warranty
Includes parts, accessories, shipping fees, and labor
Annual service BASIC plan
  • Precisionary Instruments covers all repair labor fees and maintenance costs under the Annual Service Agreement.
  • Precisionary Instruments covers all cost of parts, accessories, or shipping fees.
  • In summary, one (1) annual Basic Plan provides one (1) extended year of warranty.
Annual service PREMIUM plan
  • Precisionary Instruments covers all repair labor fees and maintenance costs under the Annual Service Agreement.
  • Precisionary Instruments covers all cost of parts, accessories, or shipping fees.
  • In summary, one (1) annual Basic Plan provides one (1) extended year of warranty.
  • Includes one (1) ship back to company for full preventative maintenance.

At Precisionary Instruments, we strive to make delivery of your new instruments as smooth as possible. For rotary microtomes, it will take about 7-10 days for your new microtome to arrive to your lab after we receive your purchase order.
