Our Compresstome® VF-800-0Z tissue slicer is a fully-automated large diameter vibrating microtome capable of embedding large organs or multiple samples simultaneously for preclinical uses. Experimental applications include:

We use brainstem slices of rats, which are particularly delicate and difficult to obtain. We were surprised by the performance of the vibratome, as it produces healthy brain slices comparable to much more expensive vibratomes. I also like the simplicity of the design of the vibratome.
